Strategic Leadership Across Business, Marketing and Social Impact
I am a strategic advisor, fractional and interim marketing executive, entrepreneur, and nonprofit leader with experience spanning global enterprise, business ownership, international affairs, government contracting, civic engagement, and economic development.
Throughout my career, I have worked at the intersection of strategy and execution—helping organizations clarify their direction, strengthen their market position, build productive partnerships, and translate ambitious ideas into practical action.
Today, I work with businesses, nonprofits, foundations, consulting firms, advocacy organizations, and mission-driven institutions through advisory, Fractional CMO, Interim CMO, and consulting engagements. I am particularly drawn to organizations navigating an important period of growth, change, leadership transition, or organizational transformation.
What I bring is not simply marketing expertise. It is a cross-sector perspective shaped by experience working with corporations, entrepreneurs, public institutions, nonprofit boards, international organizations, and community leaders.
A Career Built Across Markets, Cultures and Sectors
Born and raised in India, I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Mumbai before completing my master’s degree at the University of Wales in the United Kingdom.
My professional career began at Hewlett-Packard, where I advanced from sales into regional channel leadership.
Working across the Middle East and North Africa gave me early exposure to the complexities of building partnerships, managing programs, and developing markets across different countries, cultures, and business environments.
That experience established a principle that has guided my work ever since: strong strategy and human-centered leadership are not competing priorities. The most successful organizations understand how to combine commercial discipline with relationships, trust, cultural awareness, and a clear sense of purpose.
Entrepreneurship and Business Leadership
I am the co-founder and managing partner of Webtek Marketing, a digital marketing agency focused on helping organizations strengthen their visibility, authority, and growth.
My responsibilities span business development, financial management, project oversight, client relationships, team coordination, and the broader management of the company. I help establish strategic priorities and ensure that plans move from discussion into execution.
Building and managing Webtek has given me firsthand experience with the realities faced by entrepreneurs and growing organizations: allocating limited resources, managing competing priorities, developing teams, retaining clients, adapting to market change, and maintaining momentum while continuing to plan for the future.
I also founded SenoPro LLC, a certified Woman-Owned Small Business serving healthcare and public-sector organizations. That experience expanded my understanding of government contracting, regulated markets, procurement processes, and the challenges involved in building a business within complex institutional environments.
Advisory and Executive Marketing Leadership
Organizations typically engage me when they need experienced leadership but do not necessarily need—or are not yet ready for—a permanent full-time executive.
Strategic advisor
As a strategic advisor, I provide an independent perspective on consequential decisions involving growth, market positioning, partnerships, organizational direction, and stakeholder relationships.
Fractional CMO
As a Fractional CMO, I provide ongoing executive ownership of the marketing function. This can include strategic planning, brand positioning, team and agency management, business development, budgeting, program oversight, and ensuring that marketing activity remains connected to broader organizational goals.
Interim CMO
As an Interim CMO, I step into the organization during a defined period of transition. My role is to provide continuity, stabilize the marketing function, maintain momentum, support internal teams, and prepare the organization for the arrival of permanent leadership.
Through consulting engagements, I help organizations examine a defined challenge, evaluate their options, and develop a practical path forward. These engagements may involve marketing strategy, organizational positioning, partnership development, nonprofit growth, advocacy, economic development, government contracting, or cross-sector initiatives.
Across each of these engagement models, the objective remains the same: to create clarity, strengthen execution, and leave the organization better positioned than it was before.
Leadership Beyond Business
My leadership has never been limited to the commercial sector.
I serve as President of UNA Austin, the Austin chapter of the United Nations Association of the United States of America. Through this work, I help advance education, engagement, and local awareness around the principles and work of the United Nations.
I also serve as President of GlobalTexas, formerly GlobalAustin, an organization that promotes international exchange and citizen diplomacy by connecting leaders and visitors from around the world with communities across Texas.
In addition, I have served in nonprofit, board, civic, and appointed leadership roles involving international affairs, education, economic development, human rights, and community engagement.
These experiences have strengthened my understanding of governance, coalition building, public representation, advocacy, and the realities of working across multiple stakeholder groups. They have also reinforced the importance of listening carefully, building trust, and creating alignment among people who may approach the same issue from very different perspectives.
Economic Development and Social Impact
A consistent theme across my career has been the relationship between economic development and social impact.
I do not view these as separate or sequential objectives. Sustainable economic opportunity can strengthen communities, expand access, and create the conditions for broader social progress. At the same time, organizations that understand their responsibilities to people and communities are often better positioned to build trust, attract partners, and create lasting value.
I therefore tend to evaluate my work through two interconnected questions:
Does this strengthen the organization?
Will it improve revenue, market access, leadership capacity, operational performance, or long-term sustainability?
Does this create a positive broader outcome?
Will it expand opportunity, improve access, advance equity, strengthen institutions, or contribute to a measurable social or economic-development goal?
For example, helping a woman-owned company improve its market position is both a business-growth engagement and a contribution to greater economic participation. Supporting an international exchange program is both citizen diplomacy and an investment in stronger commercial, civic, and cultural relationships.
The same work can create value from more than one perspective.
A Cross-Sector Perspective
The breadth of my career allows me to see organizational challenges from several vantage points.
I understand how large corporations operate, how entrepreneurs build companies, how nonprofits advance missions, how public institutions shape opportunity, and how partnerships across sectors can create outcomes that no single organization could achieve independently.
This perspective is particularly valuable when an organization is navigating complexity.
The challenge may appear to be a marketing problem but also involve leadership, internal alignment, partnerships, reputation, governance, or stakeholder trust. My role is to help identify those connections, establish priorities, and create a practical path forward.
I believe effective leadership is measured less by titles than by the ability to create momentum, build trusted relationships, make thoughtful decisions, and leave organizations stronger than they were before.
That principle guides every role I accept and every organization I serve.
